HR Business Partner – Temporary Role

⏰ Hours: 37 per week (Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:30)
📅 Contract: 24/02/2025 – 25/02/2026
💷 Pay: £19.66-£34.52
We are currently recruiting for an HR Business Partner to join a dynamic team providing professional HR advice, guidance, and support across multiple departments. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional to work on both strategic and operational HR projects while contributing to key business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Provide expert HR advice on employee relations, attendance management, contracts, organisational change, and redundancy consultations
✔ Develop an understanding of different service areas to provide effective workforce planning solutions
✔ Support and contribute to policy development and implementation, ensuring compliance with employment legislation
✔ Provide coaching and training to managers, staff, and School Governing Bodies on HR best practices
✔ Advise on disciplinary and grievance investigations, hearings, and appeals
✔ Analyse and provide absence data to support effective attendance management and work collaboratively with Occupational Health to reduce absence levels
✔ Assist in the design and implementation of recruitment strategies, ensuring alignment with business needs
✔ Attend Adult and/or Children Safeguarding Strategy Meetings, offering HR expertise in multi-agency cases
✔ Manage confidential HR data, ensuring compliance with GDPR and internal policies
Essential Criteria:
✅ CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent degree-level HR qualification)
✅ Associate CIPD membership & evidence of Continuous Professional Development
✅ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret workforce data and identify trends
✅ Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage conflict and influence stakeholders
✅ Sound knowledge of employment law, pensions, equalities legislation, and best HR practices
✅ Experience in organisational change, recruitment, and workforce planning
✅ Proficiency in HR software and IT systems
