HR Advisor HR - South England Contract: Full Time Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 Per Annum Shift type: Days Contracted hours: Position Summary: The Human Resources Advisor (HRA) plays a crucial role within the regional/local management team, focusing on best practices in recruitment, retention, and overall HR services. Reporting directly to the HR Business Partner, the HRA will be a primary point of contact for employee relations, handle complex cases, and provide essential support in various HR initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Act as the main point of contact for employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions, grievances, performance, and absence management. Oversee the administrative tasks associated with HR cases, maintain the employee relations tracker, and provide monthly updates to the HR Business Partner and Divisional Director. Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, embedding company values throughout the region. Coach and guide line managers on HR/ER issues, including complex matters such as TUPE transfers, in line with current legislation. Support HR clinics, open-door sessions, and listening forums as required. Review and update job descriptions and assist with recruitment campaigns. Coordinate new starter inductions and onboarding with relevant Directors for managerial roles. Provide administrative support for change processes and consultations. Utilize HR information systems to access, input, and compile data as needed. Manage SharePoint to ensure it is updated with current HR policies and procedures. Collaborate with the HRBP to review and implement HR policies and assist in employer branding initiatives. Oversee DBS/PVG checks for Home Managers and the regional Leadership team. Conduct monthly NMC Pin checks for regional and Home Manager roles. Create a quarterly staff newsletter in collaboration with the marketing team. Support the HRBP with the annual employee engagement survey and various policy rollouts. Participate actively in the company’s annual conference, manage company awards, and collate relevant data for the Director of Sales & Marketing. Support employee relations across other divisions when required. Person Specification and Qualifications: Essential: Minimum CIPD Level 5 qualification. Strong experience with complex employee relations cases in a fast-paced, small-team environment (e.g., care or hospitality). Multi-site experience. Sound knowledge of employment law. Ability to travel across England & Wales, primarily North and West of England. Desirable: Experience supporting consultations and change programs. Knowledge of the care sector and regulatory standards. Policy writing experience.
