Good organizational skills, good communication skills with staff and patients, and the ability to work within a fast-paced multi-professional team are essential.
Record accurately all admissions, transfers, and discharges on the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system in a timely fashion to ensure patient flow and safety.
You will be required to use EPR to input, retrieve, and update patient records daily.
Deal with telephone enquiries and report any complaints, concerns, or compliments to the Supervisors and Ward Manager.
Be responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining patient notes within the ward.
Arrange outpatient follow-up appointments by sending inpatient discharge summaries to the relevant department for patients by using EPR, email, and/or post.
