JOB TITLE: Backshift Cleaner
LOCATION: Devonport Dockyard Plymouth PL1 4SG
PAY RATE: £12.55 per hour
WORKING HOURS: 34 hours per week
SHIFT PATTERN: Monday - Friday
As an Ad Hoc Cleaner, you will be responsible for carrying out cleaning tasks to a high standard. Cleaning tasks will include but are not limited to:
* Carpet Cleaning
* Cleaning Industrial Toilet Blocks
* Power Washing
* Cleaning of Bird Guano
* Clearing Slipways of seaweed and debris
* Clearing of Vegetation
* Emptying bins
You must be reliable and flexible to the needs of the business and provide excellent customer service skills to the client and associated representatives.
Responsibilities:
* Carry out various cleaning duties.
* Complete tasks to a high standard.
* Communicate with the Line Manager.
* Communicate with the Client in a professional manner.
* Work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Ability to work in a fast-paced team while remaining calm under pressure.
* Outstanding communication skills, both internal and external.
* Ability to effectively prioritise your workload and build relationships.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* A customer-focused approach.
* A proactive/can-do attitude to work.
* Ability to follow processes/instructions.
* Knowledge of cleaning methods and willingness to learn.
* Full clean driving licence.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
* IOSH Working Safely (training will be provided).
* Previous experience working with cleaning equipment such as buffing machines.
