Job DescriptionAs maintenance team leader, based on a static site, you will be expected to provide a comprehensive planned and reactive maintenance service for our client, ensuring the highest possible standards of service are achieved, whilst assisting the maintenance manager and deputising in their absence. Ability to lead and motivate the current team and liaise with all other centre departments in a one team ethos. Location: Eldon Square Newcastle upon Tyne Key ResponsibilitiesTo provide a quality service at all times to the client by ensuring that the standards of work and the materials supplied are as specified in accordance with the contractual arrangementsTo work to recognised industry standards at all timesYou will be required to carry out physically demanding tasks in order to meet the requirement of the businessElogbooks (internal facilities management system) are managed successfully for those sites/locations responsibleCarrying out quality inspections Ensure reactive maintenance is responded to immediately to equipment breakdowns Fixing faults on site or arranging for replacement machinery or equipment to be installed as necessaryTo participate in the provision of out-of-hours emergency cover as necessaryTo liaise with the Maintenance Manager to establish planned and routine maintenance programme and reporting proceduresTo maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the job, participate in appropriate training activities and maintain current knowledge and professional qualifications to increase your skills basis (Personal Development Plans) for yourself and the tech team.To undertake any other duties as directed by the maintenance manager and the wider centre team within the remit of the roleAdhere to Company and externally relevant health and safety laws and policiesUndertake any other duties and responsibilities as may be determined by companyReview and mange staff rotas for the tech team and report any issues to the maintenance manger Deputise in the absence of the maintenance manager.Necessary SkillsEssential: Either Relevant Technical Certification in Electrical Installation of Electrical Maintenance or relevant Technical Certification in Mechanical Maintenance Electrical Inspection and Testing (2391) or 2394Experience of Maintenance in a retail environmentCompetent electrical fault finding and analysis skillsPrevious Team leader or supervisor experience Excellent communication skills and must be able to work within a diverse community IT SkillsCompetent IT skills for email / Microsoft packagesMethodical record keeping Ability to understand and analyse electrical / mechanical systemsHands-on approach and Problem solvingIOSH working safelyACOP L8 Legionella water hygiene IPAF CertificateAsbestos AwarenessDriving License Desirable: Authorised person – LVPASMA (Safe use of mobile access towers) BenefitsFree Parking at Eldon SquareUniform Provided Store DiscountsCMSL Training Full time position
