Rockbourne is delighted to be working with a leading European residential real estate investor and manager who is looking for a top-tier Senior Associate to join their Central London-based team.
My client, who owns and operates one of Europe’s largest privately held residential real estate portfolio of c. £30bn across a number of European geographies. They are currently on an exciting journey to grow their portfolio over the coming years.
The Why?
My client has just gone through a significant capital raise (via blue chip institutional investors) and has launched a new fund focussing on, predominately, multi-family assets within London and the big 6 UK Cities. As a result, they are now looking to expand their investment team.

What do you need to bring to the table?
* C. 4-8 years’ worth of experience and may come from a real estate Corporate Finance, Capital Markets, Fund, Investment Bank or Private Equity background
* A variety of backgrounds could be relevant, with the fundamental requirement being a high level of proficiency with Excel.
* Prior residential investment/deal experience is desirable, not essential.
* Experience underwriting Real Estate transactions using Excel - although you will have the support of a dedicated team who will be doing the heavy lifting.
* You will need to have a thirst for learning and be willing to wear multiple hats, in a fast-paced environment.
* Detailed orientated and resourceful with the ability to work with speed and accuracy.
* Relationship building capabilities and confidence.
* Hunger to learn, naturally inquisitive with a passion for real estate development.
The role itself:
* Building financial models and cost models as well as appraising new deals in conjunction with wider team members, putting memos and decks together and improving capacity across the team.
* Deal sourcing & and relationship building.
* Assessing potential development opportunities across, predominately, London and the six major UK cities.
* Initial screening of investment opportunities and performing due diligence on approved transactions.
* Researching different property markets to assess potential competition for high-specification residential spaces.
* Analysing market data to assess new investment opportunities.
* Work with the team who will be responsible for constructing bespoke Excel cashflows to appraise the investment of income-generating assets over a varying hold periods.

* Salary: up to £80,000 - £120,000 (DOE) plus a discretionary bonus
