IN SHORT
The Red Bull Technology Education programme STEMx launches in January 2025. Taking the best from F1 World Champions ‘Red Bull Technology’, the experience will inspire young people from Milton Keynes and beyond to pursue future careers in Science, Engineering, Technology, and Maths (STEM).
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Learning Experience Coordinator to deliver engaging and interactive STEM workshops for students aged 9-14 years. The ideal candidate will have a background in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics, as well as experience in educational settings. You will be a passionate advocate for education who understands Key Stage 2 & 3 and has an ability to bring learning to life.
STEMx has been created collaboratively by MK College and Red Bull Racing and will be delivered to schoolchildren in MK and the surrounding area via the Online Hub and in person from the Mobile Facility. The pop-up mobile learning facility will incorporate various F1 themed learning stations which can be set up in open spaces and will be delivered to schoolchildren and young persons at schools and other approved locations via a travelling van. The programme is built on the pillars of inclusivity and innovation, ensuring that curriculum content is brought to life through engaging Red Bull Racing activities. It aims to enhance young people’s appreciation of technical skills in Digital, Mechanics, Engineering, Media, and E-Sports, highlighting their contribution to the success of the Red Bull Racing F1 team. Core skills in Maths, Science, and IT are seamlessly integrated through practical, fun scenarios, fostering essential competencies such as teamwork, inclusion, communication, problem-solving, resilience, creativity, and enjoyment. The programme also emphasizes the value of cognitive diversity in overcoming challenges and recognizing opportunities, while instilling a fearless, competitive spirit and boundless ambition in participants. Inspirational experiences will be designed to shape career and life ambitions, driving young people towards excellence and a positive impact.
MK College will treat all applicants fairly and with respect, irrespective of their background, disability, or any other individual characteristic. We particularly encourage applications from people with backgrounds which are currently under-represented within Milton Keynes College. All offers made to successful candidates are subject to satisfactory outcomes to a range of pre-employment checks including a Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS). In addition, security clearance is required for all prison services positions up to Counter Terrorist Check (CTC) level.
