IT Support Engineer

What We Are Looking For
We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and motivated IT Support Engineer to join our team based in Washingborough (3 miles south-east of Lincoln).
The role will be based within our Support Team, focussing on delivering exceptional levels of support, technical administration, workshop repairs and pro-active monitoring of many and varied IT systems. This will include work on customer sites when required.
Although, as techies, we can work anywhere in the world, we want someone to predominantly work in our office as company culture, learning from others and office banter is something that is important to us.
What Do You Need?
* A desire of provide excellent customer service and a proactive can-do attitude.
* Fabulous communication skills, both verbal and written, when interacting with colleagues, suppliers, external companies and end-users of varying technical ability.
* Proficiency in hardware support and configuration of PCs, laptops, servers, printers, routers / firewalls and network devices (both wired and wireless)
* An appetite to develop in both technical and customer services skills.
* Practical experience of Microsoft desktop operating systems, Microsoft server operating systems and Microsoft 365 Cloud services.
* Ability to work as part of a busy Team as well as independently.
* Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Experience of hardware repairs, specifically in relation to laptops and desktop PCs.
* Be able to communicate with clients in a friendly, professional way in a plain English, jargon-free manner.
* A full UK driving licence with access to own vehicle insured for business use.
* You must be located within a 40 mile radius of Head Office.
* Attention to detail and a thorough approach.
· Friendly and professional telephone manner (An absolute must!).
· Experience of supporting Apple products including iMacs, MacBooks, iPads and iPhones is desirable but not essential.

· Hours of work - 37.5 hours per week between the hours of 8:45am â 5.30pm Monday to Friday (with an hour lunch-break each day).

· Salary - £24,000 to £28,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
