With our exponential growth, we are looking for incredible individuals to join us and continue our success story About The Role Due to the continued growth of the business, we are looking to recruit a Transport Supervisor to join our depot in Scotland (Lanark). The Transport Supervisor will be responsible for the supervision of the Transport Depot and covering the Transport Manager in their absence. This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of an award-winning Transport team, who have won numerous awards for Operational, Business and H&S excellence over the last two years. The Transport Supervisor will work full time, usual hours to be between 22:00 to 06:30, candidate must be flexible to accommodate any issues that may arise. During peak operational periods hours may vary to 40 hours a week over 5 days, Monday to Sunday. You will be given notice prior to peak periods. Main Responsibilities: Assist our transport management team in the smooth running of the transport function Ensure that the trunking operation runs as smoothly as possible throughout the evening Ensure all vehicles are maintained in line with legal requirements Assist drivers with tasks in the Transport Yard when required Assist with boxing the vehicles for deliveries Ensure drivers are managed correctly to work within the driver's hours and working time regulations, using the company recognised processes to manage full compliance Thoroughly investigate any incidents, accidents and near misses when required Assist the training team with the addition of new drivers to the transport department Support the Transport Manager and training team with the recruitment of new drivers What Wren Offer: 25 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays Quarterly Bonus Scheme Staff discount on kitchens including family / friend discount Driver CPC Training provided 5 Yearly Medical provided and full expensed Full uniform and PPE provided Progression and Development opportunities About You Essential Skills and Knowledge: Must be experienced working within a transport office for multi drop deliveries Must have a minimum of 1 years team leader / management experience within a transport or logistics office Desired Skills and Knowledge: Strong IT skills - in particular Excel Strong knowledge of driver hours and working time regulations Strong knowledge of driver compliance IOSH Certificate and First Aid Certificate LGV Licence and CPC Card All prospective candidates are required to undergo a compulsory drug and alcohol screening before their assessment.
