My client based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire is currently recruiting for an Experienced Nursery Room Leader to join their team on a full time permanent basis. You must have a Level 3 (or higher) in Childcare or Early Years Education (required). The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and will also be required to provide two references from previous employers.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 6pm or 7:30am - 5:30pm
Salary: £12.70 - £13.50ph depending on experience.

The candidate for this role will have experience of holding a senior position within an Early Years setting and will be looking for a post where they can bring their heart, soul, and passion to leading an excitable and energetic team of fellow practitioners.
You will be required to:
1. Liaise closely with the Senior Team.
2. Be jointly responsible for the day-to-day management of your own Room and team.
3. Promote best practice through leading by example and focusing on creating a warm, caring and unique environment for all.
4. Support, jointly lead, and promote exemplary safeguarding, child protection, equality, and diversity throughout all areas of care and practice.
5. Have a child-led approach, ensuring that observations and planning of your room team meet the needs of each individual child, that their developmental learning journeys are up to date, and their progress is effectively monitored.
6. Value and nurture relationships with all children, families, colleagues, and external professionals with whom you have contact.
7. Take on the responsibility of being 'key person' to build close, warm, and professional relationships with your own small group of key children and their families, and support your colleagues to do the same through leading by example.
8. Have a genuine interest in your own personal development and growth, and that of your colleagues, for the betterment and improvement of the Nursery's quality of care and provision.
