As a Sales Manager you will be based at our new Crowne Plaza in Reading East, consisting of 174 spacious new bedrooms, a new 8 suite conference centre, a Fine Dining 2AA Rosette Restaurant & Terrace, new Lounge Bar and Esprit Wellness You will also be responsible for Crowne Plaza Marlow which boasts a private lake and large landscaped grounds, with 168 luxurious bedrooms, Events Spa across 11 meeting rooms, for up to 400 in the largest, Quad Wellness & Spa and the 1AA rosette awarded Glaze restaurant
Sales Manager responsibilities:
Responsible for promoting, securing, and developing new business from the local markets for two hotels.
The opportunity to cross-sell across a wide spectrum of hotel services and products.
A strong MICE selling background, given the extensive conference and events meeting space within the hotels.
A focus on driving room sales and identifying corporate sales, opportunities and leads.
Managing locally negotiated corporate rate relationships, as well as engaging on global accounts managed by Intercontinental Hotels Group.
Promoting unique elements of the food & beverage and leisure & spa opportunities within both hotels
The Successful Sales Manager should ideally have a hotel sales background, with a passion to succeed.
