Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced French Language Teacher to join our team for a temporary, full-time position. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a deep understanding of French language and culture. This role requires a dynamic and inclusive approach to deliver engaging French lessons to students of all levels and abilities. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with colleagues to develop a culturally responsive curriculum and utilise their excellent communication and interpersonal skills to create a positive learning environment. Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, deliver, and evaluate engaging French lessons for students of all levels and abilities
2. Assess and provide constructive feedback on students' progress
3. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment to support French language acquisition
4. Collaborate with colleagues to develop a dynamic and culturally responsive curriculum and teaching resources
5. Attend parent-teacher meetings and school events as required
Qualifications and Experience:
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
7. Bachelor's degree in French or related field
8. Fluency in French language
9. Demonstrated experience teaching French to students of varying levels and abilities
Skills and Abilities:
10. In-depth understanding of French language and culture
11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
12. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
13. Organisational and time-management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
14. Postgraduate qualification in Education or French language teaching
