KS1 Teacher Covering absences. Flexible working North Somerset I am working with a number of Primary Schools in North Somerset who are currently looking for a confident KS1 Teacher to join them on a supply basis. You will have the opportunity to work with strong and supportive staff members dedicated to providing children with building a foundation for their learning through a challenging and exciting curriculum. The Role We are looking for an experienced Teacher, qualified or unqualified to support absences across Primary Schools. We are looking for someone who has a high level of knowledge in the KS1 curriculum, someone who is super confident picking up pre-planned lessons and adapting them to meet the needs of the pupils when necessary. You will be expected to: Have knowledge or experience with Read, Write Inc scheme for Phonics. Ability to assess children’s knowledge and development. Plan engaging and exciting activities to attract children to their learning. Be confident with differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all children. Provide a safe and welcoming environment for the children. Ability to adapt interventions to suit the needs of SEND children’s needs.
