Job Description
One of clients, a top International law firm require a highly motivated and detail-oriented Billing & Finance Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the firm's billing and finance processes. You will be responsible for preparing and sending client bills, liaising with fee earners, and following up on outstanding payments. Additionally, you will support process improvement initiatives and assist the Finance Manager as required.

\nKey Responsibilities:

* Prepare and send client bills accurately and efficiently
\n\t
* Work closely with fee earners to ensure timely billing
\n\t
* Monitor client balances and follow up on outstanding payments
\n\t
* Chase overdue payments and ensure clients meet their financial obligations
\n\t
* Support the Finance Manager with various financial tasks
\n\t
* Assist in process improvement initiatives, including billing automation
\n\t
* Undertake additional transactional finance duties as required
\n
\n\n
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
\n\n
\n\t
* Experience in billing; legal billing experience is a plus but not required
\n\t
* A strong academic background (degree level education preferred)
\n\t
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
\n\t
* Proficiency in Excel (intermediate level)
\n\t
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across the firm
\n\t
* Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities
\n\t
* Proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive under pressure
\n

\nSalary: £32,000 - £36,000 DOE
