The course covers Excel at level 3 and includes:
1. Advanced formatting: conditional formatting and custom numbers and layouts;
2. Advanced formulas: date and time, mathematical, text, financial, lookups, database, nested ifs, and statistical formula;
3. Advanced charting: combo charts with secondary axes, chart enhancement including using images, changing scales, and chart elements;
4. Analysis of data through tables, pivot tables, sort, filter, advanced filter, scenarios, and subtotals;
5. Validating and auditing data;
6. Using paste special and naming cells;
7. Linking, embedding, and importing data;
8. Adding security to files with protection using passwords.
Entry Requirements
To have completed the level 2 ITQ course or be using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access in a workplace setting up to level 2.
Assessment
Exams are 45 mins long and a pass mark of 75% is required.
You could progress onto the other individual advanced ECDL units including PowerPoint, Word, and Access or undertake the full level 3 ITQ Certificate.
