Construction Risk Engineer Job Description What will you do in this role? - Providing desk top reviews of construction risks as and when they come in from underwriters - Attending client presentations and meetings with underwriters on existing risks - Keeping up to date with emerging technology trends in the energy transition space, new technology releases and updated releases - Training and education of the underwriting team on technology You may also be required to take on additional duties, responsibilities and activities appropriate to the nature of this role. About You: We encourage you to bring your own experience and expertise to the table, so while there are some qualifications and experiences, we need you to have, we are open to discussing how your individual knowledge might lend itself to fulfilling this role and help us achieve our goals. What you need to have: - 10 years of experience working within Construction Risk Engineering specialising in Oil, Gas, Petrochemicals or power generation industry. - Degree (or equivalent) in Chemical, Petroleum, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. - Self-starter, with good interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively relate to individuals at all levels - from site technicians up to company CEOs. - Proven ability to write detailed reports of a varied technical nature. - Experience of working with international engineering standards and codes such API, ASME, IEEE, NFPA, ANSI.
