This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join the Oxburgh & Peckover Portfolio, as Facilities Manager. We are looking for a well organised individual to ensure our properties and facilities are aligned with relevant Health & Safety, Environmental, Fire & Security Standards. We're looking for a dynamic and passionate individual to lead a team of staff and volunteers in maintaining our Facilities across the Oxburgh & Peckover Portfolio., You will be part of the Leadership Team reporting to the General Manager for the Oxburgh & Peckover Portfolio, helping to deliver our long term vision. As Facilities Manager you'll be leading the facilities Team and working closely with portfolio and regional colleagues. Your operation will be an active one, monitoring compliance, orchestrating works and delivering projects. You'll be learning from others and supporting their work. You'll arrange contractors, track compliance and plan delivery. You'll be accountable for the running of all aspects of facilities management, making sure we are safe and compliant You will have a role in identifying, developing and delivering projects to deliver agreed outcomes and will be prepared to get "stuck in" to whatever areas are needed to ensure the smooth running of the Estate. You'll take part in duty management (including some weekends) to ensure seven-day cover.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
* an understanding of facilities management and maintenance requirements
* good experience of broad compliance and risk management, including knowledge of Health & Safety, CDM regulations, Emergency procedures and Fire & Security procedures.
* good people and customer service skills
* experience of managing budgets, finances, projects and contracts/contractors
* good IT skills
The Oxburgh & Peckover Portfolio covers both Oxburgh Estate and Peckover House & Garden.
