Ashley Kate are currently working with a luxury leisure brand based in the Leicestershire area who is currently looking for a HR Advisor to join their friendly team.
This role will report into the HR Manager, where you will be involved in all aspects of HR duties across the entire employee lifecycle. You will provide HR services to all employees, acting as an ambassador for all people-related policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities:
1. Build relationships with Heads of Departments and develop a good understanding of the business to help identify and resolve issues and trends.
2. Regular meetings with stakeholders and providing proactive HR support in respect of retention, performance, conduct and wellbeing/absence within their teams.
3. Assisting with leading investigations, and disciplinary and grievance hearings.
4. Answering employee queries in a timely manner in line with our policies and procedures.
5. Producing, analysing and reporting on various aspects of HR data, aided by the HRIS.
6. Managing the apprenticeship process and acting as the liaison between the apprenticeship provider, the Head of Department and the apprentice.
7. Supporting the HR Team with wider initiatives and projects.
8. Reviewing existing policies and procedures and contributing to the development of new ones in line with legislation, best practice and business objectives.
9. Contributing to innovation and change to stay ahead of changes within HR.
10. Providing accurate and timely administrative support to all other transactional HR processes, including new starter documentation where required.
11. Communicating all relevant information to employees.
12. Assisting with all aspects of recruitment when necessary.
13. Ensure the company is compliant with all Right to Work requirements in relation to documentation for new employees.
14. Oversee and support with the successful onboarding of all employees, making this a seamless process.
15. Monitoring and actioning HR emails in the HR Manager's absence.
16. Assisting with the planning and administration of all staff social events, to aid employee relations.
17. Ensure the presentation of the department meets the required standards and that GDPR is always adhered to.
18. To carry out any other reasonable tasks as required and deemed to be within your capabilities to meet the needs of the business.
The ideal candidate will have achieved CIPD Level 5 and come from a hospitality background.
