Situated in separate units with stunning sea views. We're excited to announce the search for a Food Retail Unit Supervisor to oversee both Oswin's Fish and Chip Shop and Cones Ice Cream Parlour. Reporting to the Food Retail Unit Manager and working closely with the Head Fish Fryer, the Food Retail Unit Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations across both units. Responsibilities include preparing and readying ingredients for frying at Oswin's, assisting with kitchen tasks, maintaining cleanliness and equipment, and ensuring excellent customer service and productivity across both locations. A successful Food retail Unit Supervisor candidate will be: Someone with Supervisor experience preferable Fish & Chip Shop or takeaway experience preferable Able to setup and work to a brand standard Good interpersonal skills with both the senior management of the Retail Unit and team members across the business. Ensuring the safety, security and appropriate storage, labelling and dating of all food stock following appropriate legislation and company policy. Hardworking and willing to learn new skills Key Responsibilities Support Food Retail Unit Manager in daily running of Fish & Chip Shop & Ice Cream Parlour Managing shifts Stock control and stock management Placing orders Fish cutting & food prep Making Ice Cream Monitoring quality and consistency Driving sales and trade Completing daily compliance checks Opening & Closing of units including cashing up Social Media management Fish & Chip Shop or takeaway experience preferable
