The Group Treasury Manager will form part of the Spectris Tax & Treasury team and will report to the Deputy Group Treasurer (“DGT”). The role has no direct reports. There is the opportunity to work flexibly in this role; however, the individual should be prepared where required to attend Spectris Head Office in central London. Technical expertise required No formal qualifications are required for this role, although either prior treasury experience or a finance background is required. The individual must, however, be numerate with strong attention to detail. Job description Daily cash management tasks, including monitoring the cash pool balances and managing the daily cash position Liaising with Group Finance and other Finance colleagues around the group, as well as with external auditors Ensuring that requests for funding and FX by the operating companies are dealt with promptly and efficiently Initiating treasury payments within the TMS (or online banking platforms where appropriate) Bank account administration – managing user access and tokens and helping ensure adequate controls are in place over user access Managing the servicing of external debt, including submitting utilisation / rollover requests to the agent bank and paying interest Managing intercompany loans and interest FX dealing, including placing the quarterly hedges for the cashflow hedging programme and ensuring that the hedges are settled on the correct dates Monthly valuation of the cashflow hedges Bank reconciliations Running the intercompany netting programme within the TMS Assisting the DGT with managing the treasury inbox and responding with service requests from around the group Maintaining the group bank account register Distributing FX rates and interest rates as required around the group Managing trade facilities for the group and the reporting of these Reporting of treasury metrics and preparation of a monthly treasury dashboard, for distribution to the Group and operating company CFOs Managing KYC requirements from the banks and liaising with Company Secretarial colleagues to collect the required information Any other ad-hoc tasks as required Experience required Some treasury knowledge would be preferred, although the role would also suit someone with an accounting background (e.g. part-qualified) looking to broaden their experience. Knowledge of SAP / other accounting and consolidation systems would be beneficial.
