This is an exciting opportunity to join YHG as the Head of ICT Operations. You would be report into the ICT Director and lead a team of 30 staff across Infrastructure, Service delivery and ICT training teams to deliver a first class service to our colleagues and customers. We are looking for a Head of ICT Operations who can work closely with business functions, and other ICT functions to not only deliver a great service but work with colleagues to deliver our ambitious 5-year ICT Strategy. The ICT strategy includes modernising our technology, leading projects such as Service Defined Networking and implementing Microsoft Intune; Simplifying our systems, as we start a 5 year programs to replace our core business facing systems with modern, cloud based platforms and working to enhance the way we operate with business areas. What will my working week look like? You will be homebased, living within the North West, within a reasonable travelling distance of our Head Office in Warrington, to attend meetings and training courses when needed. Realistically, you will be required to visit our Head Office approximately 6-8 times a month. What will I be responsible for doing? First and foremost, you will be responsible for running a complex operational team, ensuring the ongoing provision and maintenance of the group’s core infrastructure, business systems and telephony, including full responsibility for Service Delivery, Service transition, training and supplier management.
