Substantive post, Full Time 37 hours
Band 5 - Salary Range £31,892 - £39,735 per annum
Plus Distant Islands Allowance of £2,380 per annum
A Relocation of up to £8,000 is available
Are you are an experienced Registered Nurse, who is enthusiastic about your role and wants to make a difference? If so we want you to join us working as part of our Community Nursing Team, delivering care to the population of Shetland. We have a vacancy for a Band 5 Community Nurses, preferably with Community experience, but training will be provided for suitable applicants.
We are happy to consider applicants wishing to be seconded to this post, and can be flexible to support applications from NHS Shetland Nurses who may wish to consider these hours in addition to a part-time role they already hold.
Working under the direction of the District Nurse Specialist Practitioners in the Community and in partnership with the existing Primary Health and Social Care Teams, you will help support the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of care for patients, families and carers of the Practice population with whom you are working, and will have the opportunity to develop your own clinical skills and knowledge.
It is essential that you are a car driver with access to your own vehicle for work purposes.
