Who we need...
The Wedding & Events Manager is an integral part of the team who will work alongside the Events Team and General Manager. This is a multi-focused role, with a responsibility for selling, planning and running the execution of weddings, conferences and events. You will ensure all existing and potential clients receive a professional, polite and efficient service while adhering to the company's standards.
We are looking for somebody who is enthusiastic, confident and dynamic with a friendly attitude. This person must have the initiative to work alone as well as part of a team and be able to work well in a fast-paced environment.

* Previous experience in the hospitality industry within a similar venue.
* Proven experience in event planning and coordination, especially in the wedding and special events industry
* Be flexible (Available to work evenings and weekends on a regular basis)
* Stamina for wedding and event days (10-12 hour days)
* Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask
* Creative mindset with impeccable attention to detail
* Able to work under pressure
* Must have an excellent telephone manner and be computer literate.
* Focused on delivering an exceptional level of customer service
* Confident and professional approach when dealing with clients and event suppliers
* Good understanding of catering operations
* Enthusiastic and passionate with high levels of energy to work within a fast-paced business
* Knowledge of staff rota and shift patterns
* Knowledge of catering and food preparation (training provided)
* Proficiency in event management software and Google Office Suite
* The ability to motivate and lead a team
This is a full time position based on 45 hours per week. Due to the industry, working weekends, evenings, and bank holidays will be expected as required by the business.
