You possess knowledge of the construction industry and site operations, and are experienced in leading and supporting teams of trade operatives to optimize their performance, aiming to improve customer satisfaction and efficiency. Your effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are augmented by your proficiency in using handheld technology. With a working knowledge of statutory legislation regarding health & safety, you understand the need for rigorous risk assessment and method statement procedures. Your experience includes carrying out supervisory quality control post-inspections in line with a quality framework. What the Job Involves In this role, you will lead a team of high-performing repairs operatives, striving to deliver high standards of work quality and efficient use of materials. You will coordinate complex multi-trade repair projects affecting multiple properties, such as major leaks, and conduct toolbox talks and one-on-ones with operatives. Pre and post inspections on tenanted properties are part of your mandate, alongside managing void teams to ensure timely delivery of voids. You'll attend evening meetings with tenant associations, staying responsive to both internal and external customer needs, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations in all work activities. Your responsibilities will include participating in an on-call rota providing service 24/7, attending evening and weekend meetings as required, and working flexibly to meet community needs, including emergency response. A vehicle and fuel will be provided by Enfield Council. An enhanced DBS check is mandatory.
