Job Description Learning Support Assistant - Heston - Immediate Start We have an exciting full-time opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant in Heston This is a full-time position, Mon - Fri 08:30am - 4pm, Immediate start, prior experience working with children in the UK preferable. Position Details: Role: Learning Support Assistant Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 am to 4:00 pm Start Date: Immediate Start Location: Heston About the Role: Provide 1:1 support to a student with autism, aiding their educational journey and developmental goals. Support a small group of boys with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, fostering resilience, confidence, and academic progress. Collaborate closely with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and SENDCo for ongoing support. Work in a structured environment with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs), employing strategies to effectively support students' needs. What We're Looking For: Able to work full-time, Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Previous experience in a school setting is preferable, but any professional experience working with children in the UK is acceptable. Willingness to provide personal care if needed and to support children with SEND. Must have, or be willing to obtain, an enhanced Child-Only DBS check. Ideally reside in or near Heston or have reliable transportation to commute to the area.
