About the Candidate
We are looking for someone with a friendly and professional attitude who enjoys working in a busy, people-focused environment. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential, as you will be dealing with a wide range of visitors, staff, and students. You should be well-organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable using IT systems to manage calls and enquiries. The ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure is key, as no two days will be the same. Most importantly, we need someone with a positive, can-do attitude who thrives in a team environment and takes pride in providing excellent service.

About the Role
As our Front of House Assistant, you will be at the heart of the college, ensuring a warm and professional welcome for everyone who walks through our doors. You will greet visitors, handle enquiries, and direct them to the right place, creating a positive first impression. You will also manage the student absence line, answer and transfer calls, and assist with a range of administrative tasks. In addition, you’ll be responsible for handling internal and external mail, processing cash transactions, and supporting college events. Keeping the reception area organised and accessible will also be an important part of your role, ensuring that it remains a welcoming space for all.
