Position: Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Doncaster
About the Role:
As a Residential Support Worker, you will be providing care and support to children and young people in a safe, compassionate environment. You will help them to develop emotionally, socially, and practically, guiding them through daily activities and empowering them to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality care to children and young people, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
Support young people in daily activities, including education, social skills development, and independent living.
Be a positive role model and advocate for the young people in your care.
Work closely with other professionals, including social workers, teachers, and therapists, to ensure holistic support.
What We're Looking For:
Experience working with children and young people (ideally in a residential setting).
Relevant qualifications (such as NVQ in Health and Social Care, Children and Young People, or equivalent).
A compassionate, patient, and understanding approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
The ability to build positive, trusting relationships with children and young people.
What We Offer:
Competitive salary and benefits package:
Basic wage includes an all-inclusive allowance of 8.5%, bringing the salary to £29,576 - £32,501 (equivalent to £15.33 - £16.85 per hour).
£41.78 per sleep-in shift (on average 4 shifts per month, totalling £167.12, approximately £2,000 annually).
Rota includes 2 weekends off out of 4.
Overtime over 37 hours paid at time and a quarter
