Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the construction of a new £7 million care home in North Manchester. The role involves managing all aspects of the project, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning: Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets. Identify and mitigate risks.
Team Leadership: Coordinate and lead a multidisciplinary team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the main contact for clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders. Provide regular updates on progress.
Quality Assurance: Ensure construction meets quality standards through regular inspections.
Budget Management: Oversee the project budget, manage expenses, and maintain financial records.
Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations on site.
Problem Resolution: Address and resolve challenges to keep the project on track.
Qualifications & Experience:
Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects.
Strong understanding of building regulations, especially in the care sector.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Experience with budget management and construction management software.
Relevant qualifications in construction management or civil engineering.
