Are you an experienced Property Manager looking for your next challenge? My client, a growing and established residential real estate company, is seeking a motivated and proactive Property Manager to join their expanding team in Central London. With a diverse portfolio ranging from serviced apartments to HMOs (Housing of Multiple Occupancy) and private rentals, this is an exciting opportunity to manage high-quality residential properties in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role
As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of a substantial and varied property portfolio in Central London. Working within a close-knit and ambitious team, you'll deliver excellent service to tenants, ensure compliance with property regulations, and manage contractors and maintenance processes to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
* Tenant Management: Act as the main point of contact for tenants, handling inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
* Property Inspections: Conduct regular property inspections to ensure standards are met and identify maintenance needs.
* Maintenance Coordination: Organise and oversee repairs and maintenance work, liaising with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely completion.
* Compliance & Health and Safety: Ensure all properties meet health, safety, and legal compliance standards, keeping up to date with relevant regulations.
* Tenancy Agreements & Renewals: Prepare and manage tenancy agreements, coordinate renewals, and ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date.
* Financial Oversight: Monitor budgets, service charges, and rent collection, assisting with arrears management as needed.
* Reporting & Administration: Maintain accurate records and prepare regular reports for senior management.
About You
We're looking for a confident and organised individual with a passion for property management and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You'll need excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with tenants, contractors, and colleagues alike.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in residential property management.
* Strong knowledge of property regulations, compliance, and health and safety standards.
* Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage a diverse portfolio.
* Confident communicator with great interpersonal skills.
* IT proficient, with experience using property management software and Microsoft Office.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
