Are you a motivated and detail-oriented administrator? Johnston Fuels is seeking an administrator to join our busy and collaborative team on a part-time or full-time basis for 6 months (flexible hours to suit the right candidate). This role requires excellent organisational and interpersonal skills to handle various administrative functions whilst maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. This role is crucial to maintaining our excellent service standards, and you will play a key part in ensuring our smooth office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Answer and direct telephone calls, emails and other forms of communication
2. Prepare and edit documents, reports and presentations
3. Manage overall office organisation, ensuring a productive working environment
4. Take and process customer orders accurately, coordinating with the relevant departments to ensure timely fulfilment
5. Support the finance team with various financial administration
6. Maintain and organise files and records, ensuring data is accurate and accessible
7. Provide excellent customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally
8. Provide flexible support on various projects and tasks as required by different teams
Skills & Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you will have:
1. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
2. The ability to multi-task and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment
3. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic
4. Confidence using Microsoft Office Suite and a willingness to learn new technologies
5. The capability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
6. Previous experience in an administrative role is an advantage, but not essential
