If you have a passion for working with neurodiverse students and want to make a lasting impact, Powertutors has exciting opportunities for you.
About Us
Powertutors is on a mission to transform the lives of young people with neurodiverse conditions, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning differences. We believe that every student deserves personalised, empathetic support that helps them overcome challenges and unlock their full potential. * Supportive Environment: Our team is here to support you every step of the way. You’ll have access to resources and a community of like-minded tutors who share best practices and insights.
* Ongoing Professional Development: Benefit from continuous CPD opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge while working with us.
The Role:

You’ll be working with students who have a variety of learning differences, including Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD / SLD), autism, ADHD, and other additional needs. Each session will be personalised to meet their unique goals, and your creative, empathetic approach will be key to their success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons that meet both academic and social-emotional goals.
* Support students in developing their self-confidence, independence, and overall wellbeing.
* Complete brief session reports and provide valuable feedback on student progress.
* Collaborate with Powertutors’ team to ensure that each student receives the highest standard of care and support.
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified Teachers (QTS / QTLS) (optional) with a genuine passion for working with SEND students.
* At least 2 years of experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, or SLD.
* A deep understanding of safeguarding processes and a commitment to promoting the safety and wellbeing of all students.
* A flexible and empathetic approach, with the ability to adapt to the needs of each student.
* A current Enhanced DBS (we can assist you in obtaining one if needed).
* A commitment to making a real difference in the lives of neurodiverse learners.
What We Offer:

* Opportunities for remote tutoring alongside in-person sessions.
* A collaborative and supportive community of educators.
