The Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of day-to-day operations within the organisation. This role will support various departments and manage administrative tasks. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, highly organised, and adept at multitasking in a fast-paced environment. They will be responsible for supporting the business by providing exceptional administrative services including (but not limited to) booking of travel, answering and handling incoming phone calls/enquiries, raising of purchase orders, shipping activities, and in-office support. Due to the nature of this role, this is an office-based position based in Over, Cambridgeshire, working conventional office hours, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities:
* Answering incoming telephone calls and emails and forwarding to the appropriate point of contact within the organisation.
* Acting as primary point of contact for visitors attending the Over, Cambridgeshire offices.
* Handling of post and deliveries to the Over, Cambridgeshire offices.
* Primary responsibility for booking all business travel and accommodation.
* Support preparation of purchase orders.
* Assist in preparing, updating and organising company files.
* Overseeing the procurement and inventory of office supplies and equipment, ensuring timely restocking when needed.
* Maintaining and improving housekeeping practices.
Coordinating the procurement, shipping, and receiving of goods and materials.
