Teaching Personnel are actively looking to find a Higher Level Teaching Assistant for full-time work in our Manchester North Primary branch across primary schools in Bolton. The demand for higher level support staff is growing and at Teaching Personnel we pride ourselves on delivering the highest calibre of supply staff to schools in the area, should they require them.
As a Teaching Assistant for Teaching Personnel, you will have the opportunity to work in various schools in an area that suits you. Schools often seek consistency, and Teaching Assistants who perform well are frequently recalled, which can lead to long-term or permanent positions.
In your role as a Teaching Assistant, you will work with pupils in both Nursery and Reception, either in small groups or on a 1:1 basis, during the teaching of core and foundation subjects, such as maths and English, with a particular focus on phonics. You will track pupils’ progress and provide feedback to the class teacher, creating a positive and nurturing environment that encourages pupils to reach their full potential.
There are several full-time roles available, term-time only until the end of the academic year (July 2025). Relevant qualifications (Level 2/3 education-based qualification) are desired.
If you think you’d be well-suited to this role, please apply and attach your CV.
We look forward to hearing from you!
