An exciting opportunity has arisen as part of the Transforming Nursing Roles to expand the Advanced Nurse Practitioner service within Fife’s District Nursing Service. We are therefore looking to recruit a Health Care Support worker to support the team. This new position will assist to deliver safe, effective and person centred care to patients within the primary care setting. It is recognised that as people live longer, services and the way we work together has to change if we are to continue to meet the needs and aspirations of our communities. In Fife Health and Social Care Partnership there is a recognition that having staff with the right Knowledge and Skills within the community is required to support patients to live long and healthy lives in their own home or in a homely environment. You will require excellent communication skills and be able to work as a member of the wider Health and Social Care Team with the ability to work autonomously. As this is a community post you will also be required to travel across Fife. You will be employed under the District Nursing Service and will predominately cover an area that covers some of the 7 H&SCP Locality areas however this would be flexible dependent on service needs.
