Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting a new role Finance Assistant for an academy based in Macclesfield. This opportunity will provide the successful candidate to work in a stable and supportive working environment with scope for development. This is a great all round finance role with a major focus on Finance administration, purchase ledger and sales ledger.Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will be required to:
* Completing daily and monthly reconciliation of all bank receipts and payments
* Reconciliation and balancing of monthly intersystem payments across accounting systemsPreparing and posting journals into accounting systems
* Preparing and posting journals into accounting systems
* Preparing, posting of payroll journals and maintaining all pay records for our annual audit.
* Manage expense claims for staff.
* Ensure monthly pay variance analysis is completed in a timely manner for the management accountant.
* Data Entry.
* Reconciling supplier accounts on a regular basis and investigating differences.
* Monitor mailboxes and dealing with the finance emails as they arise.
* Supporting the Finance Manager and Head of Payroll with ad hoc duties that may arise.
