The Burrow is a resourced provision linked to Warren School based at Glebeland Primary School which provides adaptive learning opportunities and resources to support learners effectively.
We are looking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) who is committed and friendly, with a passion for improving outcomes and life experiences for our pupils in the school with SLD needs. The range of needs that are covered is very diverse and you must be able to adapt to the different needs of each child. You will be working alongside teams of excellent, supportive staff. If you are a forward thinking, highly motivated individual with a passion for supporting our young people come and visit us to find out how we can make a difference together.
You will:
1. have experience working with SEND students
2. use a range of strategies to support a diverse range of complex needs
3. have strong interpersonal skills and innovative techniques are essential
4. use creative and diverse approaches to support the needs of all pupils and to develop a love of learning
5. support tasks relating to ‘real life’ experiences
6. be willing to share good practice
7. look for a challenge and a desire to participate in school and Trust CPD opportunities
8. be passionate about supporting learning characteristics in pupils
9. be able to adhere to policies and procedures and follow GDPR guidelines
10. be able to maintain confidentiality
11. have an awareness of Safeguarding.
Qualifications:
1. SEND Experience
2. Grade C /4+ Maths and English
3. Good level of computer literacy
