About Our Client
A growing Chichester area company is looking to strengthen the accounts team by recruiting a full-time permanent in-office Accounts Assistant.
Job Description
As Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for:
1. Data entry
2. Processing customer invoicing
3. Processing supplier invoicing to ensure accuracy against POs and quotes
4. Managing bank activities including reconciliations of bank and credit card statements
5. Compiling weekly supplier payment runs
6. Preparing accounts reports
7. Assisting in the preparation of monthly Management Accounts
8. Credit control and administration functions across all departments to ensure payments are collected in a timely manner
The Successful Applicant
1. Qualification to AAT level 3 required, or currently studying AAT
2. Experience in a finance role preferable, but not essential. Previous experience of Xero beneficial
3. Excellent reporting skills with a keen eye for detail. Advanced Excel experience preferable
4. Able to efficiently use Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
