Tile House Surgery is looking to recruit an administrator to join our existing administration team of 9 on a full time basis. You will provide general administrative support to the doctors, nurses and reception team. This involves the use of SystmOne (specialist clinical software), MS Word, Excel and Outlook Full training is provided on all systems and processes. Main duties of the role include: There may be on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks but this will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels. To scan and read letters received into the surgery. To provide an efficient service of typing of letters, reports, patient referrals etc. in an accurate and quality manner using MS Word and SystmOne clinical system. To set up electronic referrals as required and attach forms/clinical information as per the GPs request. The recording of and administration of all insurance reports, subject access requests and any other forms or letters required from GPs. Dealing with incoming emails appropriately as per practice policy. Contacting hospitals regarding patient appointments. To receive incoming and initiate outgoing telephone calls, taking messages and dealing with appropriate queries. To receive and dispatch mail. Receiving incoming telephone calls from patients regarding their test results. Any other duties which may be required, appropriate to the role of medical administrator/GP assistant.
