Our client who are a not for profit organisation based in Gloucester are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join their small friendly team on a part-time permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have excellent communications skills and an ability to build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
-Providing financial oversight to the organisation
-Line management responsibilities for 1 team member
-Reviewing monthly payroll
-Production of monthly management accounts with analysis for review and discussion
-Managing contracts to ensure income is drawn down in a timely and efficient manner
-Managing the annual budgeting and business planning cycle
-Managing ongoing services including VAT, audit, banking and investments
-Ensuring statutory financial responsibilities and reporting requirements are met
-Managing production of annual accounts through liaison with Auditors
-Responsibility for ensuring the appropriate UK tax, accounting and other appropriate legislation
-Monitoring, reviewing and managing key risks to the organisation
-Improving processes and systems and driving a value for money culture
-Financial aspects of grants applications
