Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 + Package

Role Overview:
As the Health and Safety Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all health and safety aspects across a range of construction projects. You will ensure compliance with industry regulations, promote a strong safety culture, and implement best practices to minimise risk. This is a key role within the organisation, offering the opportunity to make a significant impact on the health and safety standards of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement, and review health and safety policies, procedures, and risk assessments.
* Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Provide guidance and support to site teams on all health and safety matters.
* Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and implement corrective and preventive measures.
* Deliver training and toolbox talks to site staff and subcontractors.
* Maintain and update health and safety management systems and documentation.
* Liaise with site management and project teams to ensure health and safety is integrated into all project planning and operations.
* Report on health and safety performance to senior management and recommend improvements.
Qualifications & Experience:
* NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent in Occupational Health and Safety.
* Proven experience as a Health and Safety Manager within the construction industry.
* Strong knowledge of construction health and safety legislation and best practices.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
* Ability to conduct thorough investigations and write detailed reports.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
