We're seeking a Quality Control NDT Technician to join us and drive efficiency and collaboration on a weekday night shift pattern. You will perform a range of NDT techniques as directed by engineering drawings and specifications to ensure the integrity and quality of components, with associated reporting requirements. These services may be performed both in the factory and in the trackside environment as required. As a Quality Control NDT Technician, your main responsibilities will be: Routine and complex NDT processes using a variety of methods and on a variety of materials. Verification that all parts passing through the department are examined to the required quality standards. Ensure that parts are processed within the required delivery KPIs. Maintain NDT equipment calibration and maintenance as required. Creation of reports to provide information to designers, manufacturers and other departments as required. Generate ideas for process and product improvements. Maintain knowledge of industry standard required safety and quality standards. Maintaining training material and method sheets. We are looking for a Quality Control NDT Technician with the following skills and experience: NDT experience of components and parts manufactured in a variety of materials including carbon-fibre composites and metals. Appropriate PCN qualifications Skilled use of NDT and metrology tools and methods. Confidence to draw meaningful conclusions on part quality independently. Independent and self-motivated with good organisational skills and an Effective communication skills with management, peers, and other stake holders. Excellent attention to detail with good numeracy and literacy skills.
