Robert Half is delighted to be partnering with a reputable and fast-growing manufacturing business near Fakenham to source an experienced Interim Management Accountant for a 4-month assignment. The Role As the Interim Management Accountant, you will be responsible for a range of key financial duties to ensure the smooth running of the finance function. Reporting directly to senior management, you will provide accurate and timely financial insight, enabling the business to make informed decisions. Your core responsibilities will include: Preparing monthly management accounts, complete with variance analysis and commentary. Supporting core budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring all figures align with business strategies. Conducting in-depth financial and costing analysis to highlight opportunities for savings and efficiencies. Assisting with cost and inventory accounting in the manufacturing environment. Preparing for year-end audit processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks. Cash flow monitoring and management, including preparation of cash flow forecasts. Collaborating with key stakeholders across the business to deliver actionable insights. Contributing to ad hoc financial projects as required. Key Requirements: Professional Qualifications: Fully qualified in CIMA, ACCA, or ACA preferred. Candidates who are finalists or qualified by experience (QBE) will also be considered. Experience: Demonstrable track record in management accounting, ideally within a manufacturing or production setting. Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management principles. Familiarity with SAP and advanced Excel capabilities. Working Arrangements The role will primarily be office-based at the company's site near Fakenham to ensure active collaboration and on-site presence. However, there is some flexibility for hybrid working, depending on individual circumstances. What's on Offer A competitive day rate of £250 - £300, dependent on experience and qualifications.
