Job Title: Industrial Painting Supervisor

The Company:
My client is a well-established contractor based in the Cheshire area. Due to a large increase in workload, they have an immediate start for an experienced Painting Supervisor working on Chester Zoo.
The Role:
As a Painting Supervisor, your main duties will be to supervise industrial painting gangs on large steel frame portal buildings. There will be very little paperwork duties, just supervising the gangs.
1. 30 17.00 Monday to Friday (Saturday & Sundays are available at increased shift rates)
2. Responsible for ensuring the painters complete works to a high standard to completion
3. Maintaining and promoting Health & Safety and environmental standards
4. Liaise with other department managers and other members of the construction team
5. Reporting to the Project Manager on Health & Safety, site logistics, progression of work
About You:
As a Painting Supervisor, you will ideally come from a painting background and have a minimum of 3 years experience carrying out a similar role. You will be highly motivated and able to work in a busy, pressured environment and have proven experience working to tight deadlines.
1. SSSTS or SMSTS 5 Day Health & Safety / CSCS Card / First Aid At Work
2. Proven track record working in a similar role
3. Good eye for detail
4. Experience of managing Sub-Contractors
5. Excellent customer and business communication skills
The Opportunity:
For your skills and experience, we can offer a shift rate of £250 per day, working Monday to Friday 07.30 to 17.00. Saturday work is paid at £350 per shift / Sundays work at £500 per shift.
