Apprentice SEND Officer Ref: 80306 Location: Castleford Campus Salary: £23,872 per annum Hours: 37 hours per week We have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice SEND Officer to join a friendly, supportive, and positive Inclusion team. The role is varied with lots of opportunity to develop new skills and knowledge. You will be required to: Provide a professional, efficient and excellent customer focused service to coordinate processes related to SEND and High Needs students Ensure the ALS service meets Government legislation, Group statutory duties and local authorities’ deadlines for SEND students. Work alongside the SEND Officer on group processes for a caseload of SEND students at an identified college to ensure an outstanding student experience from initial consultation to positive destinations into adult life As an Apprentice SEND Officer you should be confident, well organised, and proactive with good IT skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. You will have: GCSE A-C/9-4 in English and Maths or equivalent A willingness to work towards a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship within two years A full Level 2 Qualification This is a diverse role where you will be building relationships with curriculum and support staff, and many other stakeholders.
