Sustainability and Environmental Analyst (Internship) Closing date for applications: 18 th April 2025 Loadhog Ltd have an exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic and ready to learn Sustainability and Environmental Analyst Intern. What is the role? Based at our head office in Sheffield, we are seeking a Sustainability and Environmental Analyst Intern to support our environmental initiatives and reporting processes. The successful applicant will be responsible for collecting, analysing, and reporting Loadhog’s Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions for the reporting year, as well as calculating and producing Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) and Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for our products. Additionally, they will play a key role in data collection and submission for EcoVadis certification, identifying areas for improvement and helping to embed sustainability enhancements in the business. Furthermore, they will contribute to Loadhog’s annual sustainability report and conduct research into emerging environmental regulations in the UK, US, and EU. Key Responsibilities Reporting to the Sustainability Project Manager, the successful candidate will be involved with, but not limited to: Collecting data and reporting on Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions for Loadhog’s annual sustainability report. Conducting Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) and produce Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for Loadhog’s products. Supporting EcoVadis certification submission through detailed data collection and analysis. Assist in writing and compiling Loadhog’s annual sustainability reports. Research and tracking new environmental regulations across the UK, US, and EU to ensure compliance and proactive adaptation. Who you are Have strong proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting. Utilise mathematical skills for accurate sustainability calculations. Portray attention to detail for data collection, reporting, and horizon scanning. Be able to work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy. Have an interest in Economics, Business, Geography, Sustainable Management, or related fields. Previous specific experience is not necessary but would be advantageous. All training will be provided to develop your knowledge and skills in this emerging field.
