We are seeking to appoint a skilled, confident, and motivated analyst to join the trust's busy Information & Insight Team.
Sherwood Forest Hospitals are embarking on a major programme of transformation with the implementation of an Electronic Patient Record (EPR), and this has created an exciting opportunity to work as a Business Insight Analyst within the Business Insight Team. The aim of the role is to promote and support the effective use of information to inform the delivery of high-quality patient care in an organisation.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for providing in-depth, specialist information, reports, and recommendations to support the decision-making processes. They will play a key role in the long-term strategic planning and business management of the Trust through, for example, the development of demand and capacity models, market and benchmarking analyses, and analytical support to large-scale improvement projects.
The post holder will show initiative and self-motivation and will have excellent interpersonal skills, given the need to pro-actively support senior managers and clinicians through their analytical skills and knowledge of NHS information, performance, and planning frameworks.
