The Gastroenterology team are keen to continually develop the clinical service. The successful applicant will find a range of exciting clinical and professional opportunities including: Endoscopy - therapeutic endoscopy; small bowel imaging and/or bowel cancer screening Physiology - both oesophageal and/or pelvic floor physiology Clinical - any clinical interest can be accommodated including nutrition (to link with the Central England Rehabilitation Unit), obesity (to link with existing hepatology service and to develop a potential future bariatric service), acute gastroenterology (to link with Acute Medicine and Emergency Medicine departments) Teaching - requirement to support clinical teaching for Students from both Warwick Medical School and Buckingham Medical School. The department presently provides relatively little direct teaching to medical students, and sufficient time would be allocated in the timetable to both provide and organise teaching sessions for undergraduate students. We would support the post-holder with academic interests and research related to Medical Education and would encourage close links with both medical schools and their academic departments.
