About the role:
Are you a Project Manager seeking a new opportunity? We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Capital Delivery team, working within the Integrated Service Delivery area.
You will manage the delivery of capital investment projects across our water assets, ensuring they meet regulatory timelines, deliver business benefits, and provide customer value.
As Project Manager, you will lead projects ranging from £500k to £20m, ensuring on-time delivery within budget, and to agreed quality expectations.
Stakeholder management will form part of your role. This means you will use your strong communication and influencing skills to engage with a range of stakeholders. In addition, you will collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to achieve business outcomes and customer value.
Innovation is at the heart of everything we do as an organisation, which means you will be responsible for driving innovation. This includes driving efficiencies and continuous improvement through leveraging industry best practices.
You will manage project governance, benefits tracking, proactive risk management, and change controls in line with investment procedures.
About you:
We’re looking for a pro-active Project Manager who can oversee projects from inception to completion and handover. You should be organised, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams whilst building credibility with stakeholders at all levels.

This means you will ensure safety, quality, and environmental outcomes through compliance with company standards, legislation, and Construction Design Management (CDM) regulations.
You will have experience, or a strong desire to develop in Portfolio, Programme, and Project Management, ideally in a construction, utilities, or critical infrastructure environment.
Proven expertise, or the drive to develop in contract management, procurement, and application of appropriate engineering contracts. This includes engineering contract management and CDM regulations.
You may have a background in Engineering, Construction, Oil & Gas, Utilities, or related industries, with the ability to bring fresh perspectives and ways of working.

Key Requirements:
1. Experience in managing capital investment projects.
2. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
3. Knowledge of health and safety regulations, including CDM.
