Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join a primary school in Crook. This is a temporary, full-time position where you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to Key Stage 1 students.
Job Duties:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with the KS1 curriculum.
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
* Collaborate with colleagues to support student development.
* Attend staff meetings and contribute to school initiatives.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Valid DBS clearance.
* A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Key Stage 1 (preferred).
* Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and effective classroom management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Additional training in Special Educational Needs (SEN).
* Experience working with diverse student populations.
Additional Information:
* This is a full-time, temporary position.
* Both ECTs and Fully Qualified Teachers are welcome to apply.
* Collaboration with colleagues and participation in extracurricular activities may be required.
