Project Manager - Client side

Sphere Solutions is currently assisting to recruit a Project Manager for a development organisation in the heart of Cornwall.
This organisation, with an investment and development partnership ethos, is searching for a Project Manager to manage multiple projects from design through to handover and aftercare, ensuring a quality build, safely and to agreed budgets and time scales. Projects will vary, including residential and mixed-use developments across Cornwall.
The Role:
* Manage project budgets and take charge commercially of all project financials.
* Manage performance, ensuring successful delivery of construction projects.
* Implement contracting and procurement strategy, including the appointment of contractors and suppliers.
* Lead monthly project meetings, pre-construction, and construction stages, producing build programmes and reviewing design/technical approvals.
* Liaise with the development teams, understanding sales & lettings to build programmes, accounting for section 106 agreements.
* Manage risk and opportunity, ensuring build costs are controlled, CVR meetings, reviewing over costs and variations.
* Monitor and inspect projects, ensuring quality and safety of all sites.
The Person:
This role is an integral appointment for the operational team and will require similar experience and knowledge to be considered.
* Significant experience working within the construction industry, managing complex projects or portfolios.
* Excellent financial/commercial understanding of build costs, risk, and variations.
* Both developer and construction experience is preferred; ideally working within a client-side environment.
* Full project lifecycle knowledge.
* Degree qualified or equivalent within a construction-related discipline, preferably with membership in a professional organisation.
On Offer: Salary circa £60,000 with a car allowance, private medical insurance, pension, and a performance-related bonus.
